Case study · Dickson
At Dickson I needed one place where anyone could answer that question. So I built it. The result is a roadmap command center that pulls release plans, certifications, competitor intel, and launch revenue into one place, with views built for each role instead of one view stretched to fit everyone.
It stays current on its own. A nightly sync pulls progress from Azure DevOps. A weekly job watches competitors. Every release carries its full launch kit: milestones, a customer-facing description, linked backlog items, and launch docs.
I built the whole thing inside Claude, iterating on it like a product. Sketch a view, put it in front of the people who would use it, fix what they tripped on, repeat.
The release calendar. Every product and version: what already shipped, what is planned, and what changed.
A lookup that answers whether something is on the roadmap, plus a certification map showing where each product can be sold.
The revenue impact of every launch, so what ships gets weighed against what it earns.
Interface shown as built, with release details, names, and figures blurred for confidentiality.
Eight years across regulated enterprise software, alternative data, investment products, customer-facing roles, and independent SaaS.

I'm a product manager at Dickson, where I own strategy across DicksonOne, OCEAView, Mapping Suite, and the Dickson360 mobile app. That's the resume version. The real version is simpler: I like building things. Usually software. Sometimes with my hands.
The best things I've built started with a real question and ended with a number that answered it. I built an AI workflow that cut security questionnaire work by about 85 percent. I took Mapping Suite from a discovery doc to six figures in ARR. I run the same playbook off the clock. When my street started flooding, I calibrated the NOAA gauge against photos of my own garage to figure out exactly when water comes in. When I got into flipping watches, I built a comp engine that scores every auction against real sold listings before I bid.
I also believe the fastest way to build the right thing is to talk to the people who will use it. No personas invented in a slide deck. Real conversations, real feedback, then build.
Off the clock: I'm engaged, I live at the Jersey Shore, and I spend Sundays watching the Bills. I ski in the winter, compete in fitness events, and spend more time than I'd admit thinking about watches.
